We've been wanting to add a four legged member to our family for quite some time now. After a ton of researching breeds and thinking through what kind of dog would work for us we fell in love with Great Pyrenees. They are a whole lot of dog, but they are know as Gentle Giants. They are not agressive dogs but they love their families and will protect them if needed. We picked up Gracie yesterday. She is a Great Pyrenees mix and is about 2 years old. She is a complete LOVE. She doesn't bark, chew, or jump. So far she just wants to cuddle and be petted around the clock. Great Pyrenees are Basque and since we hosted our Basque student Leyre last summer (and will again this summer) we have opted to follow the Basque tradition of using several names. So without further ado here is Gracie Padmei Tinker Bell Wilson.
