The trip down went well, as we broke it up over two days. 4 hours seemed way more manageable and the kids did great! We stayed at a hotel in Roseburg, ate dinner at Denny's (which by the way Kenneth ordered mac and cheese with a side of mashed potatoes! =) ) and even manged to swim for a bit! The next morning we woke to a fabulous continental breakfast (even the coffee was good!!) and then hit the rode. It took us 6 hours to make the final 4 hour trip...... if you want to hear a good story sometime then ask me about the blowout, the cops, or the flying shoe.....ahhh yeah, its good stuff!!
Some highlights from our trip were....
**Hanging out with the cousins... John 5, Anna 3, and Lydia 1 (almost 2)
** Abby meeting family (not sure how I missed getting pictures with Uncky and my Mom and Duane! Sorry guys!)
Uncle David
Big Grandma
Big Grandma and Jaja
Abby, Anna, and Lydia (they LOVED her!!)
**Time at Jaja and Big Grandma's house - turtles, fish, and guns!
Though exhausting, we had a great trip and I am glad that we went down. By the way, our 8 hour trip home took 12 hours!!! Wow!

I am so glad you posted those pictures! So fun to see Lorene and her kids and Aunt Ruth and Uncle Johnny too. Haven't seen David since he was a little boy!
"A Blowout, A Cop, and A Flying Shoe" sounds like a great blog title to me. Pretty sure there is a great post to be done with that material
