Our new favorite family outing, is a walk to get ice cream. This is quite a journey, it probably takes us about 30- 40 minutes to get there, but it is a beautiful hike. We simply head behind our house on beautiful trails and walk to BaskinRobbins. It works great, because although the kids get a shot of sugar, they have the whole walk home to work it off! On Sunday Kennth choose the flavor of the month, which was some sort of Penguin thing.... If you're thinking of trying it, DON'T. Think black ice cream everywhere! It totally stained everything that it came in contact with and the kids are still pooping bright blue/green poop. (Ok, sorry if thats too much info!) I'm not sure how they managed to turn ice cream dark black, but it must have meant A LOT of food coloring! Yikes! Next time we'll go for vanilla.
